In 2015 I finished my graduation in Biochemistry, specialization in Clinical Biochemistry at University of Aveiro. During my master thesis I was integrated in the mass spectrometry group of University of Aveiro, and the work I developed involved the monitoring of phospholipid oxidation by mass spectrometry.

I have been working since April at Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas (CIB, CSIC), in Madrid, being part of the MASSTRPLAN project.

The theme of my project is “Identification and characterization of cellular targets of lipoxidation: involvement in disease mechanisms” and the main goals are the identification and validation of proteins as targets for new oxidized lipid species and to understand the importance of lipoxidation in cell homeostasis and cell signalling.
