Robbin Bouwmeester

In 2016 I finished my M.Sc. in Bioinformatics at the VU University Amsterdam. I am especially interested in applying machine learning and data mining techniques on problems in molecular biology.

During my M.Sc. I have been part of an education committee, involved in teaching (teaching assistant) and employed as a research assistant at the University of Amsterdam.

After completing my M.Sc. I joined the Compomics group as a PhD student to work on the MASSTRPLAN project. My role in this project is to develop Bioinformatics tools for mining LC-MS(2) lipoxidation data.

The focus of my workpackage is on using data mining to aid the identification of oxidized lipids and lipoxidized peptides.
