Officially, the MASSTRPLAN project finishes the 30th September 2019. It is hard to believe that 4 years passed so quickly! It has been great working with everyone over this time.
We have pushed the research field forward substantially, as demonstrated by many papers published and especially the 2 Special Issues in Redox Biology https://doi.org/10.1016/j.redox.2019.101208 and Free Radical Biology and Medicine https://doi.org/10.1016/j.freeradbiomed.2019.07.027 in 2019 . As well as the scientific achievements and wider impact, we should be proud of the detailed and thorough training provided to the ESRs.
Many of the ESRs already secured new jobs or contract extensions, and are going on to further research in academia or industry. Congratulations!
We want to thank all beneficaries, partners, and everybody else who contributed to the project for your input and hard work. We could say that “Once a MASSTRPLAN researcher, always a MASSTRPLAN researcher”.
