In 2012 I graduated for my M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences at VU University of Amsterdam. I performed my master thesis at Imperial College London working on the cell biology and immunology of the Malaria parasite. Afterwards I started working on the same project as a Research Assistant, and in 2015 I joined the Department of Pathology at the University of Cambridge working on different projects related to cell biology, immunology and parasitology.
Currently I am a PhD student in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Milan specialized in mass spectrometric strategies. My project is focused on the identification and characterization of RAGE binders of proinflammatory mediators. Top-down and bottom-up mass spectrometry approaches will be used for detecting adducts with albumin.
