In 2015 I graduated in Biochemistry at the University of Aveiro. During my masters, I worked in lipidomics and mass spectrometry. From this work resulted a published paper on phospholipidome profile alteration of myoblast cells in myocardial infarction (J Cell Physiol 2016).
April 2016 was the month I joined the MASSTRPLAN project as an early stage research/PhD student in the School of Life and Health Sciences at Aston University, UK. My project is focused on characterizing short-chain aldehydes and chloroaldehydes adduction to proteins by mass spectrometry.
